Drabbles [ Shauntal x Lucian] / A Novelist's Rest
Drabbles [ Shauntal x Lucian]
  • The night was winding down to the final hours and Shauntal had spent so many hours working. She barely stopped for a break. Had it not been for Lucian, she would've forgotten to even bother to eat.
  • After eating and taking a moment to unwind in a bath, much to his urging to keep her mind off of constant work, fatigue started to hit her like a brick. She didn't want to leave his company, as she felt at ease at his side. Shauntal inquired if she could remain at his side.
  • Once his arms were opened, welcoming her at his side on the couch, he adjusted his arms accordingly so she could rest with him. Shauntal fought tooth and nail to stay awake, wanting to remain awake in his company for as long as possible. Even her glasses were starting to ache around the bridge of her nose. She peals her delicate frames off of her face, leaning her head against his shoulder.
  • Not ten minutes after making herself comfortable, she felt her eyes grow heavy. She was just barely able to hold onto her glasses as she started to drift off. Feeling the weight of him under her and hearing his heartbeat when she cuddled against Lucian easily lulled her to sleep.
  • Lucian was a wonderful pillow. Hopefully, he didn't mind that his ghostwriter lover was now a complete dead weight on his chest.
